Funny thing about brain parasites; if you don't get them surgically removed, they will kill you. I estimate you you have 2 minutes to live . . . good thing there's a skilled surgeon here ready to operate, eh?
Made for the Godot Wild Jam #67; first game I've made in Godot, second game I've ever made.
*****WARNING***** The death screen has a fade out effect around the edges, and it makes you feel like you are having a seizure or something. So if you are sensitive to that sort of thing, please be careful

It took me a few tries to figure out just what was going on, and then I zoomed through the levels and wished there was more. This is very cool. Would not recommend skipping the tutorial!
